The Bird and The Bat

Just call me Jill Wayne. Or Jill Pantozzi because that's my real name. Whichever. You can also call me The Nerdy Bird. Catch me at TheNerdyBird.com or @TheNerdyBird on Twitter.

I’ve seen some fine TARDIS dresses in my day, but this one takes the fish fingers and custard (aka cake).
Photo by Chris McElheny at Wizard World Philadelphia. If anyone knows the cosplayer let me know so I can credit her. She’s been found! It’s @geekadelphia blogger @JoPincushion! Who is also on Tumblr! And Emily Tullis designed the dress for her: emilyetullis [at] gmail [dot] com

May I present, Darkseid and the Female Furies! Photography by @Ghinto (Ljinto).
This was the huge cosplay group I put together for San Diego Comic-Con this year. I couldn’t be more proud. From left to right: Gilotina, Artemiz, Knockout, Darkseid, Mad Harriet, Granny Goodness (top), Big Barda, Lashina (me!) and Bloody Mary.

My beautiful friend @HeyKannaya cosplaying Ame-Comi Mera from SDCC. She LOVES Aquaman.

dcu:

Just got these awesome photos from Ashley Hay, here’s what she had to say (HA, a  rhyme):

Hey there!

I wanted to send these photos your way to possibly post on your blog. The costume is Mera from Aquaman based off the Ame-Comi figure that came out in May. I have attached some photos of the costume as well as the photo of the figure. Debuted at SDCC 2011.

Credits are as followed:
Costume made by Helen Aure

Thank you so much!
