I’ve written about this before, so this might be redundant to those of you who have been following my writing for a few years. But after some gender-related internet drama yesterday, it’s been on my mind again.

Yesterday, Jill Pantozzi, known to some as The Nerdy Bird, wrote about how Kevin Smith’s comic shop show (which she tried out for) decided to ditch the females and instead have a men-only cast (indeed, the title was revealed to be Comic Book Men). Smith later replied that he was saving the ladies for season two. But that’s not even what I want to discuss; it’s the reactions to her article that got me all riled up.
