Back in December we decided it would be fun to take some well known internet cat photos and replace them with our very own Pat Janssen for a segment we call Lolz Patz. Turns out yes, it was fun… for everyone but Pat. A lot of these positions were pretty painful.
Accepting submissions of illustrations depicting our favorite superheroines in comfy pants until Monday for a post on The Mary Sue. And by pants, I mean the American usage of the word so do with that what you will. Sweat pants, yoga pants, stretch pants, hammer pants, etc. You can link them to me on Twitter @TheNerdyBird or email them through my google profile (Jill Pantozzi). Make sure to send me along a link to your website, tumblr, twitter, etc so I can credit you correctly. Thanks!
Where did you purchase your Batman hoody from (in your picture)? And is it still available? :)
I got that from Hot Topic a while back, they likely wouldn’t have it anymore. Though I actually saw some that look sort of similar on ebay just earlier today. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=batman+hoodie&_sacat=11450&_odkw=batman&_osacat=15724&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
“It’s one thing to take pride in your work, and it’s something totally different to invest your ego into it. When your self-worth is determined by what other people think of your work, you’re doing it wrong. You have to be able to accept criticism on any level, even if it’s moronic. I take pride in what I create, but if someone doesn’t like it, that’s not a reflection of my work.”—Anonymous, and oh so true.
What sort of tips are you ladies at The Mary Sue looking for? By tips you mean article ideas or links right? I've given a few anonymous tips with links to things I thought were interesting, but no luck. Or is the tip button for monetary "tips" (because you can forget that, I'm broke.)
Haha, no, they are definitely for article ideas/links. Sorry if none of yours have wound up as stories yet. We may not have thought they were right for the site or already wrote about them etc.
